Damn straight.

 

5 days to sand, prim, color.. Yesterday first coat of clear, one more clear this Am. back on the truck this pm.. Rush job but came out 100% better looking...

That's the only thing I'll put on my 2-wheeled vehicle but not quite so sure for the Taco...

 

Considering a suspension overhaul...not really sure what I want to do. Considering doing the rear first.

I am OVER this procomp lift.

Suggestions?

 

Can't go wrong with king, icon, or fox.

 

dont have that budget or else I would...also would never really need that much performance.

 

Im just trying to figure out if I should get a new leaf pack or just go with the icon 3 leaf. then my fear there is either too much or too little rear lift for my current front setup.

I dont really know how much lift the AAL from the pro comp package provides

I have the 3" procomp kit.

So its new coils ans struts.

back was an AAL and new shocks. Im completely over how this thing rides..crazy stiff and bumpy.

Id like to get a new leaf pack but im afraid that its going to give me too much rear lift. Granted it would be nice when I occasionally tow. but I dont want to have too much rake.

Another issue is I think my current leaf packs are about fried. So I may not have any other option than replacing them completely.

 

There was a guy on the TW FB page selling a deaver 3 leaf pack. Only asking $120. Seems pretty damn cheap, he posted a link to the original site for them:

For that price i thought about buying it and swapping out my AAL for them.

Even with shipping the price has to be better than the $289 brand new + shipping

 

the 3 pack from wheelers is only 150 and comes with new ubolts.

anybody know if the deavers are THAT much better than the ones from wheelrs??

or the icons for 200

 

Remind me to ask my neighbor if he still has the ome lift I sold him when he had his tacoma. He never installed it.

 

I dont know shit about either, just thought $120 had to be good, but didnt consider needing to get u-bolts and pins and all.

was it the full kit with dakars?

my only fear there is running 265s. I feel the OME kit has a higher rear lift.

It was the full kit with dakars, 10mm top plate spacer, and LR Uca's. Just remembered there's no rear shocks though. Couldn't get them off my old truck.
