    keep your cash.

make the dealer give you 3K in equity for your trade...and get that extra grand discount off MSRP.

I had no idea there was a Sirius option. Mine didn't come with it and I didn't see it on any of the others. Maybe it's just part of the Entune package.. :notsure:

I'll be the first to admit, I'm horrible at negotiating so I may not have gotten as good a deal as I could have, but I was anxious to get a truck and it still ended up being affordable to me, and they were able to get me exactly what I wanted. Here's the numbers:

2013 MGM Access Cab 4x4 4 cylinder with the SR5 package, all-weather floor mats, and door sill protectors, 4 speed auto tranny:

price $28,210 (pretty much MSRP, yea I know)
trade in $6,399.99 (this was kind of a joke, more in a minute)
    doc fee $399.99
    tax $1,709.33
    tag/title $45.50
    net price $23,964.83

That's how it broke down on the original deal sheet. I have a 2003 Honda Civic LX that I traded in in great condition with 83k on it. They originally offered me only $5k for it which I got a good laugh out of. I knew the car was worth $7,500 at retail in the condition it was in, so I told them to give me $6,200 and take care of the BS $399.99 doc fee. They came back with $6399.99 which I accepted.

I also complained about the truck not having any satellite radio (per their website, it did. Even though the salesmen didn't want to agree with me) so I asked for an additional $200 off before I picked the truck up to which they reminded me how poverty stricken they are and can't move any more blah blah blah. So I asked them to do something for me, and they dropped the final price down to $23,900 flat so essentially I got $64 knocked off, but hey better than nothing lol.

My price out the door was $23,879.50 The tags ended up being a little cheaper because I transferred my existing plates over.

Could I have done better? Probably... but this is my first truck and I am ecstatic with it so the money thing is not really an issue to me now :) And I got 1.64% financing from a local credit union :D

Only advice I can give you I to try to sell your civic privately , out here in the north east you could get 7500 easy no questions asked for that thing .

I'd try selling privately if you could . Good luck

    I'm looking at the following:

    2013 Access Cab
    4x4, 4.0L, 5AT
MGM, TRD OR, no Entune/other options
    MSRP: $31,825

I haven't set foot in a dealer yet, but I'm wonder if $29,500 + TTL is unreasonable for this.

I'm going to try the Internet route and email a bunch of dealers to get ballpark offers and then play them against each other.

Ideally, if I could get them to throw in a set of TRD Beadlocks (preferably the Baja Gunmetal version, although I have read they won't sell those to the general public) for under cost, I might be willing to come up a little on the price everything works out.

Any ideas/input would be appreciated. I'm currently in China for work, but I'm hoping to hit the dealership within a few weeks of getting home. I just have to keep convincing myself that the AT is the right decision.

I noticed something 'missing' in your photo below. In the backs of the first row seats, there doesn't seem to be any book/map pocket pouches on them.

.... I would have thought it was a standard item for a dbl/ access cab model.

    Tow Package
    Tinted Windows
Paint Protectors on the rear fenders, had them removed from the front hood.

....29,000 Flat ( not including my extended warranties)

    Truck MSRP was 34,945,
    Invoice was 32,something
    TSS Package rebate was 1000
    USAA rebate was 500
Active Duty Military rebate was 500.

I negotiated to 31 flat then asked for the rebates so that got me to 29 then I added the extended bumper to bumper warranty and gap insurance. Brought me to roughly 29800-29900. Then with my down payment I only had to finance 19k at 2.99 APR

TSS Package included running boards, rims/tires and custom floor mats.

Mine's the same way. I was a little disappointed in the fact that there was no mesh holders, but then I got over it. I don't really use book maps too much.
