My sister is going to kayak with her husband from Ruby Ranch to Spanish Bottom on the Green River. They will be on the river for 8 days, starting on Wednesday.

For those with me on White Rim, you'll likely recognize some of the formations on the canyon walls. I want to do this...

 haha. I was thinking about it some the other day and unless they get really good at SAS'ing 2nd gens, I may just go LT instead to retain freeway drivability. Then if I really want to get in to crawling I can use it as a towing rig for a buggy or something.

Who knows though, I still have a few years to thing about it as I won't exactly have the funds to do anything major until after I graduate and get a good job.

Damn that is pretty high up. Depending on the wind resistance of that rock, 11-12 seconds would make that 1900-2300 ft up, maybe a little less if the rock hit terminal velocity at some point as well. (FYI, I have just spent the last month learning this crap in my physics class, so if you were wondering, no I typically don't know this kind of crap off the top of my head. haha)

Way to make it a science project Brady :p haha

yea its stupid high..well it doesn't look quite as high up front. But thats cause of how it was formed. Its like a middle section of the Mountain just collapsed so when you look strait on its not bad cause the lower slope is still there. But really its like even deeper behind that slope.

    And here are my pics..

here is the Tomb from the high way up Shell canyon.

    751dd7f1f24e2c5e0b9b32d3f225c1fb_b963605d14f7e41d9756f3bf80a8b2e3b63845e1.jpg

Then when we were going to the top from the back side we stopped at this place we call Granite Pass. Its sweet. Who says ya half to go to Moab to see this stuff

At the Pass there is a Geocache. If any of you have a GPS check it out, its super fun to do. It was my third time stopping here and my little bros 2nd. So we decided to find our old logs. And sure enough! My dads logs are still there from 2004!!

had to leg it to the edge. Was a strange place. Grant and i decided it had an odd feel to it..was really cool though.

    THE TOP!

Sorry my ipad kinda screwed up with the light  But from here you can see all the way to the basin and where i live..its EPIC to say the least. Was a bit smokey so i think thats why it was so washed out. anyways.

I know, just saw Bix in the one pic and reminded me of the meet this summer with them running along side.

You must show me/tell me where this is...I plan on making another Yellowstone-Cody-Cheif Joseph-Beartooth trip next summer. This could be another stop along the way if I can get the time off.

Well..its clear across the Basin haha this is in the Big Horn Mountains. Just up Shell Canyon. Then Copemans Tomb through Granite Pass. Then we went up past Shell Resivor to Arden lake. Then back up the Ranger Creek road for a little more wheeling fun. Although they really have cracked down on the roads up there :( The road to Arden used to be shitting and fun..not its super easy. And most of the Ranger Creek road is all smoothed out now too :pout: but we took a side trail that merited some more rough stuff..hardly rough tho.

So this is my 60" Xtreme Hi-Lift jack that fits perfectly inside the 60" inner diameter toolbox of mine. Kinda doesn't make sense, right?? That's because the 60" actually is only about 58.5 inches tall. Don't ask me why it's that way... it just is. Here it is:

I hate my god dam fucking internet.

It has been the most unreliable thing I have ever dealt with this whole weekend. It is literally cutting in and out of good service every 5-15 minutes. It just stops receiving, weather its connected with a hard line or not. It still says that the service/wifi is there at full bars, but the connection center says no internet connection and the internet windows are throwing up error messages 105 (DNS not working) 107 and 118 i think which is server timing out and error 7. My lap top and my friends laptop are doing the same thing, my laptop works perfectly fine with any other wifi, and my x box live appeared to be working perfectly fine for the 45-1hr I played it today. But as soon as I start taking a timed quiz for school the internet shits out and wont connect for 20 minutes, and at that point the timer has run down to 9 min to finish the quiz. I still managed to get a 92% tho thank god. The internet is century link with a quest modem.

Rant over, anyone ever have the same issues?
