What bumper do ya have?

 

I just did the breather mod but added my own spin to it.
The company I work for allows me access to all sorts of cool stuff, I could have gone the easy route using the Toyota OEM parts #

90930-03136 breather union but decided to try a different approach.
From my work I bought a 1/8" BSPT 1/4" brass hose barb (not pictured), this threads into the rear differential, this is the same thread pitch as the Toyota OEM breather. I also picked up a brass bulk head fitting, 90 degree elbow and a breather vent.



bulk head fitting, vent and 90 deg elbow, I had already installed the BSPT hose adapter when I decided to take the picture.





I decided on the large cubby for the mounting location, I drilled a 3/4" hole and installed the bulk head fitting, vent and elbow.





I installed the hose and ran along the top of the frame leaving enough slack for rear end travel. I like how clean it looks.

I also picked up some slotted t-nuts a couple of vinyl coated J hooks and mounted my shovel.





I used Velcro straps to hold the shovel in place.

In the past week, I installed the 13" Ebay/Euro antenna...the stock one was hitting the garage and I figure I better switch it out before it breaks off. I get perfect reception with the 13 inch. I added the TRD logo to the grill. Finally, I installed the N-Fab 3" step bars. I am glad I spent a little extra and went with the 3"...they look much better than the 2". The 2" bar doesnt look bad..there is just too much gap, if they re-engineered them...they would look the same.

 

Just make sure it's BSPT VS NPT or NPTF.

 

Thanks. That's good info. I always wondered what the tread was called - BSPT now I know.

 

Less squishy feeling when pushing the pedal. SS lines deliver the fluid directly to the caliper without expanding like OE lines do. It's no formula 1 set up that's for sure.
