I phone 5 or Galaxy SIII?

True story. Nokia made great phones. And damn near indestructable.

 

I currently have a galaxy. NEVER getting one again. It feezes all the time, has many glitches, and turns off on its own a lot. Idk if I got a bad one out of the bunch or what, but I hate my phone. My dad and many of my friends have iphones and they haven't had a problem. Iphones are also more adaptable to more electronics and apps and what not compared to androids. The 5 has my vote. Plus getting a macbook pro for college.

 

I have an iPhone and agree, for what I paid for this thing, it sure don't do half the things it should. iOS6 sucks ass too btw OP, glitchy, freezes. When this phone shits out on me, I am going to a Droid probably. Apple should just stick to computers and iPods, that is what they do best. They should have never got into the phone market, I love my Macbook and iPod, great little gadgets, but hate my iPhone. My antique GZone Boulder was a much better phone, lasted 4 years of heavy use and abuse.

Wow, you're the first person I've ever heard having issues with the Galaxy. Mine runs smooth as ice man, I have a Nexus, but all the Galaxy phones are very similar.... never any glitches or lock ups. Maybe you should take it in? QC on these phones isn't the greatest.

Samsung isn't the greatest company. When I heard they were making the Google Flagship phone I kinda cringed. Its still better than Motorola though =/

 

You know I have been threw 4 Galaxy 2s in 3 months because of freezing, and randomly resetting it self..

Back to the IPhone.... my iPhone 5 will hopefully be here by the end of the week

S3 sucks nuts

 

Got rid of my GS3 last week and picked up an iPhone 5. I have been an android fan for the past 4 years. The last 2 phones the S3 and the Galaxy Nexus both had network issues and wifi issues I could not look past. I refuse to get another android phone unless its made by Motorola since they have the best radios in their phones. I'm quite happy with the switch to the iPhone and I can honestly say I don't miss anything. It feels as good as my old Nexus 4G in my hand. It's nice to be able to 1 hand type again, not possible with the S3.

S3 is crap

 

Got the S3 on Friday, have had the original Samsung galaxy S sine it came out and was ready to upgrade to what everyone was saying was the best phone out there right now.
After using it for 2 days I'm not that impressed, battery life sucks ( yes I know 4g drains it more than 3G), the swipe typing still sucks imo but the biggest let down is the camera. The pic quality is fair at best, especially in low light situations.
I did a side by side comparison with my dads iPhone 4S and my wife's new droid razor m and the Samsung took the worst pic, iPhone the best.
Going to return the Samsung and probably get the new iPhone

my personal opinion, i hate apple. i will NEVER buy a mac. i love google.

that being said, get an iphone. i love my iphone 4 and cant wait to upgrade to the ip5. personally its a matter of UI preferance, they all do the same things. i just like the ios better than android. and honestly my iphone crashes much less then anyone else that i know with an android. not including the s3, dont know anyone with it

 

I have the S3 and I love it! I left Apple to get the S3 and it was the best choice I made. I've had zero issues with it and there are way more apps available. the screen quality is awesome and the camera takes great photos. All the photos on my build thread are from my S3, so those that say the pictures the camera take are crap look at mine. I also like how I can turn my phone into a hot spot for free so I can access the net from my laptop in my truck. My Ipone4 couldn't do that without a wifi account with Verizon. Also the Iphone 5 is still 3g voice and only 4g for data. The S3 battery might suck, but there is the option of extended batteries. Don't bash what you don't have and it's personal preference, there will be a better phone out in 3 months anyways. Technology advances too fast for something to stay the best for very long.
