Eibachs on TRD shocks

Has anyone done this or know if it's acceptable? Would it be better to go ahead and get Bilsteins and set at 0?

 

You have to get the bilsteins because the stock shocks aren't long enough for the eibachs

 

It's possible but not ideal. Eibach coils are quite a bit stiffer than stock coils so the ride might not be great and you'll wear out the shocks pretty quickly. The TRD shocks won't do a great job dampening the stiffer coil so you could end up feeling bouncy or have a rough ride.

 

OP has a 2nd Gen, stock shocks are long enough...

Just what I needed to know. Also, am I correct in thinking that the alignment can be brought back to ideal settings with stock UCA's when the Bilsteins are at 0?

Yes, you can. I've got that same setup (Billy's at 0 and Eibach coils) and was able to get good alignment numbers with the stock UCAs.
