I agree. But in my profession, most women who work in mechanical areas aren't quite as skilled. Keep in mind I did say MOST. Yes, there are women who can run circles around a lot of the guys I work with, but they are few and far between.

And I worked on my own planes all day. No chance to go walk around the airshow taking pictures. I have priorities...

Barbie has taken a lot of criticism for being unrealistic, mechanic and contractor Barbie would take that to another level.

in my 9 years of construction experience I've never seen a female contractor, just a couple female gophers. also never seen a female mechanic. while in school there was maybe 3 or 4 females taking a trade (of several hundred students).
another factor for the absence of contractor and mechanic Barbie would be demand, I don't believe it would sell well enough to warrant producing it.

I put a set of after market fog lights in my 2011 tacoma. They were working on Friday and not working this morning. I checked the switch, fuse and bulbs all checked good. What am i missing?

Check all of your connections with a tester. Start at the switch with the circuit energized and work your way to the lamps.

I am sure that it would have been way more fun than lying under that jeep in various lubricants.

We did make it to an after-party. Somehow I ended up doing shots of Vodka.

Nice! We ended up getting hosed quickly, so we re-hydrated with water, and left early before driving was not an option.
