put this here, because it isnt JUST tacoma... input, even if its negative, is appreciated

by november i plan to be out of my heep O' jeep... I also expect to be able to buy a car around 20K

    so

a NEW xb, or a 20,000 or less tacoma?

I know there's a bias here... but boy... a NEW car sounds so tempting!

When i first got my truck i had to take it back in to the dealer for two days to get some stuff switched out and for a rental they were gonna give me a xb. Well when that ugly pos pulled around the corner i looked at the manager and asked if they had a tc he smiled and asked why. I looked at him seriously and said would YOU want to drive that? He nodded made a call and a white tc came around the corner :D.

My no-bias as I drive a small 4 banger with no power says to get the Tacoma. You're old enough to have something that says "I can afford a nice vehicle because I'm doing well for myself." Then there's the other thing...I have a car that's less huge, less heavy, and more aerodynamic with basically the same engine and it sucks. You don't want a 4 banger. Even if it's brand new. 4 cylinder cars are the devil. Unless they're in Mazdaspeed STi category.

Lets not generalize too much. My scion was VERY handy/cost effective/comfortable for my needs when I bought it. I needed to get rid of my truck at the time and was living in a down town area where even the Taco would have been borderline too large....but it's a tC....not a xB.

So...scions aren't ALL bad....just the xB and xA and xD

you all need to vote, otherwise the xB might win!

the new xb is pretty much an updated Tc(mechanically), you're thinking of the old, tiny weak Xb...
