Good morning all. Off to the HD and check on renting a sod cutter.

I want to lower one section of the back lawn and clear a spot for a rain garden in the front yard.

 

Today or tomorrow. Was supposed to be this morning, but it took forever for them to get the background check completed.

 

Some of the companies require a background check. We didn't find out till Thursday that they picked me, then it was a rush to get the background check done in time. I passed with flying colors so no issues there.

 

a buddy of mine was kicked out of NAIT (telecom) for hacking the schools network, which he had been doing for 3 years. Bell Canada heard about him and gave him a job.

 

Nice to see that someone with those kind of skills can finally get a chance to use them for decent purposes.

 

My company does background checks as well I think its a good thing!

 

no doubt, he manages Bell's network and makes more now than if he had completed the apprenticeship program.

 

It's a very good thing.

I have a love hate relationship with hackers. I love them because they keep me employed with all the stupid virus shit they write. I hate them because they can make my life at work a living nightmare.

 

from what he's told me he just altered and stole tests (in different courses too) and changed peoples grades.

 

did they pay him to alter scores or did he just randomly do that?

 

no one paid him, he never told anyone what he did until after he was expelled.
