^ apple has 25000 more apps than android, and the apps made for apple are of much better quality.

better phone in 3 months? exactly why NOT to get the GS3, it will be an artifact the week after you buy it, where the iphone will still be worth what you paid for the next 2 years.

Apple does have good products, but I am not a fan of them. That being said I still have yet to find a android phone that I like besides my htc inspire. I think the sg3 feels like plastic, worse than then normal shitty plastic that comes on phones and it is awkwardly big. My phone now feels solid as a rock and it fits in one hand :woot:

I would take an iphone over one of the sg3's any day.

I also think google whores out their platform. If they kept it on a few select phones like apple is doing it would be much better.

X2, it hurts google that they do that. the platform is shitty/laggy/force closes/freezes at times because its made to run on POS phones AND high-end phones. if they made one OS to run on only flagship devices, it would be much better without having to worry about whether or not the 0 dollar phone can run it.

    ^^ This. Also, Apple Maps.

*EDIT: Voted Other, I would go for the Motorola RAZR MAXX HD when it comes out in October, since Samsung is taking their sweet time with the flex phones.

The wife and I just picked up the GS3 this weekend after playing with both the iphone 5 and the gs3. GS3 is the better phone. Nice screen, easily customizable and the thing flies. Can't wait to get the jelly bean update. IMHO, apple is behind the times, they haven't made any real strides in improving the iphone since it's inception. Yeah they have made it quicker but nothing that wows you like the new DROID phones.

Breaking news: iPhone owners hate Android phones.

In other news Frontier owners hate Tacos, Chic-fil-a gays, and whipper hates well everything.

Totally agreed. There are waaay to many flavors to choose from. I'm glad it's open source but come on people.

I have yet to have a problem with Apple Maps... Taking a trip to Vegas in two weeks so we'll see how a road trip from New Mexico works out.

My co-worker used his iPhone5 to get directions to somewhere we knew how to get. It told us to go 2 miles out to the Interstate to the north, making the over all trip about 3.5 miles, when where we needed to go was 2 miles to the east via city streets. Also, the turn by turn kept telling me to turn around and head to the interstate instead of adjusting the route to go to our destination, which was on two major cross-streets, not some hole in the wall in a back alley.

Apple Maps already has a bad rap for that very thing. Since the iPhone5 came out, the internet has been abuzz with memes and jokes making fun of the problems with it (Driving into the ocean and jumping off a building are a couple that come to mind).

Dang that's so weird.... I tested it out Saturday on a route that I always take to a friends place. Showed me 3 routes and the timing of each one.. I picked the quickest way and it took me the quickest way... Same with a place I had never been before (same day) got me there without any problems... I guess it may be hit or miss... I did hear from an Apple Consultant, who was at my barber, that they are fixing the issue with an update coming in November. Something to look forward to lol
