Why doesn't anybody go with the Panamera shrouds with a led halo mounted behind them? seems like such a cool set up but have not seen anybody go with that combo. I'm so close to pulling the trigger on the Morimoto mini ds2 kit and 4300 bulbs with panamera shrouds and amber halo. Will the Panamera shrouds fit? am I missing something here? Thanks for any input

I'm planning on doing the amber led halo's, but am just wondering how they are supposed to be secured during the install? My goal is to have them inside the shrouds, wired to come on with the dtrl's. Also I have a 2013, so there are 3 wires for the dtrl's. Does anyone know which wires to use for this?

Andrew told me on the phone that the led halos get mounted inside the shrouds with clear silicone. When you mount them outside on the top of the shroud you an tie them in 3 spots using very thin wire.

I am considering doing the BI-XENON MORIMOTO MINI STAGE III KIT (D2S) with 5five 5000k D2S, 50W upgrade with Gatling Gun shrouds, H4/9003 relay and 5000k H10/9145 whats everyones opinion on this combination?

I'd stick with the 35W ballasts with the D2S projector. General concensus is the higher heat created by 50W ballast and bulbs is more than the smaller projectors can dissipate and can eventually wear away the reflective surface. Otherwise, sounds great!

does the 35W have a longer life than the 50W? reason I am curious is bc I had a set of 50W DDM tuning an they were bad about 6 months after I purchased them, and my 35W fogs went bad about a year later, idk if it was crappy chinese lights or what
