I was just wondering what the point was of cutting out the OE frame if the new one is just as low or lower. I'm sure there is a good reason.... I just can't think of one.

 

You might consider moving the coolant pump for your sc if you aren't gonna fill that bumper with plates. Pretty out in the open for something to swing up there and hit it.

we finished at 2:30am last night...so many little complications getting the truck back together. there isn't any nitro in my shocks, no preload and the alignment is royally off.

We did some calculations and it seems I can't really add preload to these king OEMs without getting coil bind at full compression with the added preload so it was suggested to switch from 600# to 700# to raise the ride height some. 33s are also on the shopping list.

Personally it was a battle for me to decide to cut the OE crossmember but we did it. However, I wanted the front diff things that hang down like saggy balls to be protected some and this is what they came up with. I was basing my design off Special_K's new bumper but LSK didn't like the tab things that connects the bottom of Special_K's skid to the frame.
