Pokemon has gone straight down the toilet. I suspect after 2004 ish is when it began going downhill. It was truly a good show that taught me personally, some grown up attributes to have although I may not have realized it initially dreaming to myself that i wanted a particular poke'mon if they were real lol.

They still take your cards away too haha. I guess they thought we were gambling or something :p

Dang thats too bad, Pokemon was actually really cool compared to the stuff kids are into nowadays. Me, I was personally into playing with Hotwheels cars on the playground slide during recess, me and one of my old friends. We weren't exactly the popular kids in school needless to say haha, but it was entertaining. It was a challenge to get a car to make it to the top of the curly slide without flying off or flipping over and coming back down. I sure miss those days sometimes lol, life was so simple.

Thats a great movie, I always watch it whenever I see it on TV, never gets old. There's a lot of things to be learned in that movie, all of Hank's films are that way it seems like.

For me it's pretty much any movie with a wedding scene, I mean the dude seems so happy and full of life, he has no idea that he just blindly stepped into the pages of a Franz Kafka book with her playing Gregor.

    I find it really sad.

Yeah, that scene in the cowboys is really sad to watch. Haven't seen it in years, but I remember it.

Watched Marley & Me the other day, quite possibly the saddest dog movie since Old Yeller. I remember going to that at the theaters thinking it would be a lighthearted happy comedy film about a family and a rambunctious dog, which it was until the last 20 minutes! Think everyone in the theater left with tears...

I was thinking Big Fish when I found this thread also. It is basically a story about his father's life and legacy as he's passing away. It is kinda sad, but it's one of my favorite movies. The few times I have brought that movie up in conversation, no one has seen it.

My wife and I watched Marley and Me about a month after her 16 year old yellow lab died. Talk about emotional.

old yeller, when the dog dies, where the red fern grows, when the dogs die, and gran torino, when "get off my lawn dude" (sorry haven't watched the movie in years to know his name) gets shot when he reaches for his lighter.

and act of valor when LT. Rourke (i think he was the one who died) jumped on the grenade.

The Fox and the Hound scene... I'm pretty level emotionally, but that one hits me pretty much every time
