This is wonderful news. I've been looking at and for options. Has anyone installed it with a 4AT transmission?

You betcha. My AC 4x4 with all the armor tires and crap on it does like 8-9 second 0-60, so a reg cab 2wd should move just fine. :)

Would you be able to revert the motor to stock if/when you blow it to try to get it replaced under warranty?

How many hours is the install?

Dunno about the install (since Gadget did mine, of course), but from the setup it looks like you don't even have to get underneath the vehicle, and that it shouldn't be too hard at all.

There's no way you'll blow the motor while it's still under warranty. I doubt you'll blow the motor at all. It's a good kit with reasonable PSI on a solid engine, I'm not worried about my engine life even without upgraded internals.

Check back a few pages to the URD 4runner kit where Gadget did the blower at 30,000, and a compression test like 100 or 200 thousand miles later, and it came back as good as stock.

Just wanted to give an update.

All the first wave of kit orders has SHIPPED!!!!

Just got a new order in and can't ship it until next week. Ran out of superchargers and Rotrex is doing a production run for URD right now and should be ready to ship Friday. I will have them 3 days after it ships.

The fist wave folks, especially the ones that got the discount on the kits, please remember to forward me any recommendations to the installation manual so I can make it better for the future kit customers. Anything that was not clear or anything that needed a picture or something please email that info to me at Support@URDUSA.com

    Thanks!

Got an email from one of the kit customers. He loves the kit and the added performance, but he is very excited that his MPG increased to 25 MPG!!!

gadget, is all your stuff legal in cali? My brother in law lives in SoCal and is thinking about the new Itronix Uconn system you have coming out and he wants to know if it passed the cali emissions system, I think he called it "arb"...

I wish I knew about this before I bought my new motorcycle last summer. Back to being addicted. I was just thinking the other day that my taco could really use some more power. Maybe I'll make it a 100k mile gift for the '05. I'll have to save up some for it now.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I wish I did, that may be my first major modification to my truck. Does anyone know if the supercharger will take away from the lifespan of the motor at all? That is my biggest concern, I want mine to last a long time. I wouldn't really drive it any differently than I do now. Just having the extra power for going up steep grades and towing is all I want it for. If I want something to go fast, I'll buy a car, trucks aint made for speed after all.
