Where can I get New Sun Visors

checked e-bay and can't find a place to buy new sun visors for my 05? any suggestions mine are doing the "POP" and droop

 

My Scion TC needed a new driver side sun visor and I had to spend 80 bucks to get it from toyota. I couldnt find it anywhere else

 

urgh pain in the ass ebay is way easy and the mark up on dealer crap is ratarded.

 

Whats wrong with yours? do they just need to be recovered or are they broke?

 

X2. I love using Ebay.

Some of the 2nd gens have issues with them sagging after a while.

 

broke, its pretty common from what i hear. they fold up but pop and don't go up all the way, its just annoying

Yeah looks like $80 is what it will cost. Didn't think this would be a hard part to find.

what about some Velcro strips to hold it in place as a temp fix?

 

My 06 did that too. Annoying for sure. I feel ya. I'd try local scrap yards.. or just keep checkin ebay.. last resort is the dealer :/

Didn't know these were an option. OEM Black regular non-extendable ones? If so, I want a pr.......just not 80.00 each. What models might these have come on?

I just replaced my passenger side visor by finding a guy on Craigslist who was parting out an 06' sport. I've been riding around without one for a couple of months because there was no way I was gonna pay $85 on eBay for a new one. I got the replacement for $25. Just keep checking Craigslist, I'm sure you'll find one.

I was thinking the same,black vinyl ones.
But I'm also thinking of hitting up sockmonkey for a eyebrow sticker for the outside of window also.
I don't know if a tint inside will work with the shade dots on glass behind mirror.

 

I did a strip of tint on inside of glass over the dots. Haven't had any issues with it.

 

I think I'll call David at Town & Country Toyota and see what the odds of getting a GB thing on a set of the black vinyl visors are and/or whatever 2nd Gen visors people want. Will post back up with what I find out. If he will do a GB, I will start a thread for that with all contact info and such......or maybe I should get Linwood on the case since he did so good on the grills and lower dash panels.
