all depends on vehicle weight so I'm not telling :p

my psi should not be the same as a stock truck running the same tires.

in all seriousness do a chalk test and get your tires dialed in yourself. don't believe what anyone else says because each truck is different.

37 - 38 psi works well for mine.
Start there and chalk test it for yours.

Yes. I love em. There is plenty of clearance between the tire and UCA and they don't rub until full lock which isn't bad

255s on a 8.5 inch rim? Bad idea? I know thats pretty much max and i would probably be risking beating up my wheels more when offroading compared to 285s. Still on the fence on what tire size i am going to go with.

Check the rim specs for the km2s or whatever brand you plan on gettin in that size. I personally wouldn't go any wider than a 8 inch though

Also agree with that being a bad idea. I'm on an 8" wide rim and my rim is exposed more than I like

Cool thanks guys, tire rack says up to 8.5 on the km2s, but probably not a good idea. Ill probably go with a different size on the aftermarket rims and maybe down the road get some 255s for the stockers for offroad trips.

You can get stock wheels dirt cheap or for free. I got 4 for free and paid $100 for another 4 so $12.50 for 8. No one likes the 16" steel wheels from the 2nd gens so I gobbled them up. Perfect backset IMHO for tires of this size and perfect 7" wide wheel for airing down to the max. Mine stuff in the fenders oh so nice and the wheels provide good protection due to the spokes that stick out past the rim.

Ive got stock trd offroad rims,i also bought a set of the scs6, but i plan on keeping the stock wheels, maybe for snow tires or maybe for 255s. It would be nice to have wheels and tires dedicated for offroading so i dont mess up my nice wheels.

First trip today with 255's. AMAZING. I love having the extra clearance. And its nice just rolling over everything. Makes for a smoother ride than the 265's.
