    Build thread in sig...
OP, it's really easy to make those. just trace out your buckle on a small piece of 1/8'' aluminum and go to town with a dremel. if you don't have one of those, a hack saw, drill and file aren't actually much slower. I made one for myself for when i have something like a duffle bag or backpack in the front seat that weighs enough to set off the light.

just find the thread and take the buzzer out from behind dash, also i think their is another way to just turn it off. also that way you wont have to keep up with the dummy buckle.

I may be wrong, but you might need to take it to a dealer and have them turn it off. I know on my '10 there was a write up on how to turn it off. I think I read somewhere that it doesn't work on the '12s an the dealer is the only option.

    1. There are many write ups on here about how to disable the seatbelt chime.

    2. You can opt to just take out the buzzer.

    3. Buckle the seatbelt behind your dog.

    4. Look into buying a seatbelt designed specifically for dogs.

Personally, my choice would be #4. But who knows, you may not actually like your dog. And if you get into an accident, you may not care if your dog goes through the windshield.

go to the junk yard and get a buckle, just about all Toyota use the same buckle, or do the seatbelt mod

No worries, glad I could help! You could always buy the Hyandai one if he is completely out of Toy versions. :D

could you not go to a local yard and just cut the seatbelt and grab the piece?
    probably be a bit cheaper.

There's always the fact that depending on the accident (roll over type), that the dog just becomes 20-100 (depending on dog of course) loose debris floating around the cab causing injuries to the belted in occupants. Secure your shit... pets too!

I just took my '13 down to the dealer. Asked if he can shut it off. He grabbed his computer and within 2 mins I was on my way laughing.
