Added some more Dynamat to the back and did some fine tweaking and tuning of my amps and crossovers today. Turned out great. Very slight difference but I guess any improvement is better than none. I'm not sure it can get too much betted without a DSP processor with active crossovers anyways. Pics just for the heck of it cuz I'm bored.

Really? How come? I have 2 JL amps and they fit perfect under each seat. They are hidden, out of the way, a PITA to steal, easily accessible to tune without removing seat... I don't see any cons to the setup. I didnt want to lose the (edit) 'driver' side rear storage cubby since its more valuable space than under me seats. Plus I'm not really going for a flashy show look, I wanted more of a clean hidden OEM type look. Just my opinion though. We all like different stuff.

I had the JBL sub/amp too. I bough a non-jbl storage panel for the passenger side and hacked it up to install the stealthbox. The driver side storage bin is still in tact. Which is what I wanted. But yeah down side to amps on the floor is that I'll never risk going through deep water and frying a perfectly good $6000 system

A sub always sounds best the further away. So the rear passenger side is the most ideal location. Unless you have a processor like the one i posted above or a head unit that does time alignment, then the center won't sound as good. Just some advice from a sound junky. I know it seems like it can't possibly make that much of a difference, but it does. And it seems logical that having it centered would be best, but its not. The harmonic curve takes longer to develop in low level frequencies such as subs, so the further away you are the better the sound develops over time because it has to travel further distance to reach you. With time alignment, it is ideal to digitally "relocate" the sub about 12-21" back even further to create a better sound. Physically its doesn't move, but acoustically it does. It gets complicated.

Just put subs on passenger side and amps on driver side. Problem solved.

Nope no trimming. Everything fits fine. Plenty of room in there. Notice my driver side has the DEI window module too for my auto up/down windows and 1-touch feature... it fits no problem too. Next time we meet up, you can put on whatever you listen too and see how you like the sub setup like that. It is noticeable that its off center, but its all in perspective to where your sitting. Sounds better for the driver, worse for the passenger, and even more worse for the rear passengers. But I don't care what my passengers think. Its my system lol. Plus I hardly have passengers, and even when I do it still sounds great, just not AS great as the driver seat acoustics.
