Well...I'm no suspension expert, so I don't pretend to be. Have you read any over in the suspension section? There's a lot of guys who ask similar questions, and you might be able to find more detailed answers there. It's awesome that you're looking to lift!

I mean my point is Ive always wanted to lift my Taco just havent really had the 2k to Suspension lift it. BUT since I have to replace both my Struts and Leaf Springs I may as well replace the suspension with a kit, if theres one available that fits the needs of my Taco

Yeppers, I definitely feel you there. My 15 year old suspension isn't exactly new anymore... Billstien makes shocks for leveling out trucks, and when combined with eibach coils, you get a solid front option. Out in the rear I know a few companies make leaf packs, and you would replace the rear shock too with a bilstien to go with it. I've priced it out for my truck, and I believe I can get all of the parts for around 500 to 600 bucks.

Do you have a link possibly to those parts or a truck with that build? Whats a leaf pack?

Well, I know toytec has a bunch of Toyota lift options, I don't remember if they offer a leaf pack or not.

True but sometimes its better to go with same company, less hassle with warranties and such. Im not very experienced with lift kits or anything really above wheels/tires, grill bar, lamps install, etc. Maybe it would be better to build it piece by piece but I wouldnt even know where to start is the problem.

^^^ what he said. The most economical way to lift is to find the parts you need wherever they are sold cheapest.

Is cheapest necessarily the best for the money? Im looking to spend the money on good parts for the most economical way possible but also to get good, well-built parts that will last and not wear out like the POS OE leaf springs that flattened out on me. Its bad when a Toyota employee tells you that Toyota uses softer metals to make their Leaf Springs and they are more prone to flatten out because of it. /End rant

Im not sure what parts I need or where to start with that is the problem. You guys are probably annoyed with me already but Im just looking for advice.

Looking back, I worded my last post wrong. I meant shop around for the best price on the quality part, ie. bilstien shocks or whatever leaf pack you decide to go with. What I would do is start making a list of the parts you need to lift, and once you have determined that you have everything you need on your list, then try to find the best prices on those quality parts. I hope that helps clear things up.
