I see a lot of people who have returned the GS3 to get the iPhone 5, but rarely anyone returning the iPhone 5 to get the GS3. Hmmmm. I have a 4S now and will probably get the next gen 5S when it comes out(just predicting the name). From what I see against competitor products, nothing functions as well or has the speed my phone has. The only phone I've seen beat it was the iPhone 5. As for the Samsung GS3, in my opinion, a company that has to put out slantering ads against its competitor to sell its product just doesn't have that great of a product to begin with. Just my opinion.

haha exactly. Short memory people have.

Besides, I don't really find the Samsung add to be slandering. Merely pointing out that everything that people are excited about on their new iphone are things that have been available on other phones for over a year. For once it's the iphone catching up with the competition and not the other way around.

I kinda want to upgrade from my 3GS to the 5 but its still under contract, so it would be an additional $250 fee.

My buddy just got the Galaxy S3 and the freaking thing is enormous. I remember when the trend was for phones to get smaller, now there getting bigger again lol.

Ok quick update I'm returning this thing! I'm not at all happy with the speed and the stupid predictive text drives me nuts! I wenth into this looking for change when I just really needed a new battery for my old phone! Luckily at&t has a 30 day try out period I'm going back to familiar old apple. Btw this gs3 won't let you swear in a text.....

What exactly do you mean by the speed? Both are right on par with eachother. The apple is faster in some areas and the S3 is faster in others. The iphone also has a shitty predictive text. I swear on my S3 all the time, It will even spell them out when using Google voice for texting or web browsing.

Anyway, good luck with the iphone. It's a solid phone, just not very impressive, IMO.

In everything I've seen the iPhone 5 had beat the gs3 speed wise... Gs3 has better tech specs but the ip5 shows that doesn't matter when the os is tuned right. I have a quad core nexus 7 tablet and my iPhone 4S would beat it at just about anything and doesn't have half the hesitations/laggyness that the N7 displays... Once google figures it out they'll be good, but iirc apple has a couple years on google as far as mobile operating systems go...

Have you actually seen the two benchmark in person, or are just refering to youtube videos?

I've actually benchmarked my S3 with co-workers iphone 5's and it's always a back and forth battle. The iphone does not win every time like you see in the youtube vids...

Have used/seen both. Benchmarks don't matter, the gs3 still lags and semi-freezes.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Exactly, there's a lot of cool things I love about my 4S, but seems like there is more pet peeves associated with it than anything. Really regretting this iOS6 update, probably their worst yet. Either way, this will be my first and last iPhone. Mainly because I miss having an actual keyboard, imagine a 19 year old saying something like that.
