Ok, so I am set on getting a 6 inch lift for my truck. I am pretty set on pro comp. I know that the stage 2 is better than the stage 1, but is it really worth the extra $1000 if i'm not a hard core off roader? I mean I could use that for other stuff, All Pro front bumper or some skids. Any input I get would be greatly appreciated. The truck is an 07 TRD SPORT DC 4x4

I hear the ride is better with the stage 2, and i think its for shear badassness. I'm planning on getting the stage 1 now and upgrading to the stage 2 later when the funds are more abundant. For your situation though, I think the stage 1 is just fine.

Thats what I was thinking about doing, was getting the stage one, then just upgrading it. Do you know how much the kit costs to upgrade?

Pretty sure the only difference is that they give you "nicer" coilovers with the stage II kit.

Ya, I know the only difference is that the stage I comes with a spacer and the stage II comes with coil overs. I mean, are they really worth the extra $1000?

The conversion kits like 800 - 1000 more i believe, I may be wrong. its badass coilovers in the front, and adjustable shocks in the rear...i think it would be a better ride for sure, but nothing you couldn't handle with the stage 1. It'll probably be a lil stiff at first and then smooth itself out a bit.

Can someone give me a good ballpark estimate on what I'm looking at paying for a Stage 1 and then also the cost for a Stage 2 (installed)?

    Thanks

Well, you can get the kits offline for I think stage 1 1800ish and stage 2 2300ish. I could be wrong, its been a while. I found the stage 2 at a local wholesaler for 2199. as far as install, the shops I went to quoted me 1000 or more.
