    I agree it is not the only avenue, but for some, it is what we chose, and some people love it, shit I just committed 6 more years for no extra money. :eek:

    well, worst case scenario, im leavin around 8pm fri night. rather drive and get there at 1 am then to get up at 3 am to get down there at time

    but plannin on leaving at like 8 or 9 fri morning

    Not worried about everyone knowing...

    Got my license back at the beginning of Sept, had to spend 24hrs in lockup. Stayed in drunk tank, never went to Gen Pop. Wasnt on here b/c it was depressing not being able to drive. But im back:cool:

    Oh and i have a K&N ram air for sale the 67 plastic tube. Has almost brand new filter as well as a dirt stained filter. ANyone interested, can ship immediately

    For the most part it's true. Really depends on the branch and job you choose in that branch too. Doing it all over again, I wouldn't go army. Would of gone at least air force or navy. They get treated a hell of a lot better that we do. Hell, the air force gets substandard living pay if they have to live in our army barracks :laugh:

    Meals aren't exactly free either. Get charged $300+ a month for dining facilities food. Could honestly eat healthier and better if I had the choice to keep it. BAH would be nice to have too.

    Even after figuring out wages including the benefits... Still took the biggest paycut in the past few years though.

    WRmathis is right also. They are cutting out my job, I wasn't allowed to re-enlist in it and when it came time for re-enlistment, they drug their feet too much on the job I was trying to get so I was essentially pushed out. How's that for job security :laugh:
