haha oh trust me, I know...we've been in this place for a year now, it's miserable! But, the price is right for what we have so we just have to deal with the heat :(

I can only assume he meant 2000-2006 (I think thats the first generation of Tundys) and that maybe it came off a 2005?

Woulda been in my hands already if it was for a tacoma, they don't pop up very often, and I don't want to pay full price for a new one. There's a bunch of Frontier and Tundy ones though so I'm trying to see if any of those will work, I wonder if they are just tubes that can be cut to size and glued back together like PVC. Then I would only have to worry about mounting hardware

If you were to buy it, it would probably take some significant cutting depending on the tundra model.

    Stolen from: http://www.ehow.com/info_7756492_2005-tundra-bed-specs.html

I just measured my bed at the bed extender mounts and it's right around 53", our bed depth is 18", so that width would be definitely need to be cut down, and the bed extender would probably hang over the tailgate.

If you do decide to buy it and modify it, let me know, I have mounts for (I believe) that exact brand extender. The previous owner had them installed but I didn't get one with the truck. If you want them, they're yours. Just pay shipping, although I may be driving through Roseville on Friday.

That was very helpful, I think I'll swing by this guy's place with the truck and see how it sits, what time are you driving through Roseville on Friday?

Not exactly sure on the time, it would be in the afternoon or evening. There's about a 50/50 chance I'll be going.
