I have a question. So my gas mileage sucks. My tpms light came on while home in Colorado so I checked my tires and came to realize that my tires are a load range E size 285/65/18. Aren't these more for one ton duallies. Which would be to heavy for our truck and hurting my gas mileage.

Yup that's why. Stock for your truck is 245/75/16. Since you jumped up to a 285 and on top of that load range E. if you look for tires look for a load range in a C or D. E is way to heavy. Thats my issue too.

Also when shopping for tires see how much one tire weighs. Big difference, I thing a stock tire weighed 45ish and the tires I bought are 58ish. I will be lookin for new tires soon.

Yea that's about me too. It's the tires. Lift has some to do with it also. Bit most I would say is in tires.

What brand if tires you running?

Yea those are about 52-55 lbs per tire. So you added 80lbs of additional weight in just tires. Plus the rims are probley heavier.
