i need to regear my truck...bad. I want to get 4.10 gears, but i have no idea what ones to get (5 lug).
Also I'm pretty sure they are a pain to install without the right tools so is there a reliable shop with decent prices to install them? or does anyone have the tools and knowledge that wouldn't mind helping me?

Not easy to do from what I hear and my experience. I had mine regeared last june by a guy with great rep....noisy whine 1st go round so he said the gears were bad....re does it and whine slow came back bad. Fast forward to last month I finally give up and go to yota masters, they pull third and the gear wear pattern was horrible, way out of backlash. Had them regear it and ome other work...now she's quite and smooth with no vibes. Fuck! Make sure u go to a reputable place for regear! Yota masters is a drive but great work!!! Take third out and drop off and much cheaper!

There's much truth to this. Get the ultimate or whatever they call it, basically it's the same thing as the normal one but it's on garlic bread. You more than likely won't be sorry.
