You should try and get your hands on a 2 1/4 in or 5x7. The quality is amazing. I love it.

I have them on my bodies. Last week, ended up with a lot of mud on the camera. Cleaning dirt or debris off the LCD screen can scratch it-that's my reasoning.

Not sure where the 400 falls. It's like the 500 in that at 500mm, you usually want the 600 (unless you have to carry the 600).

35% up front, 20% in the back window tint, 15" Mickey Thompson bullet hole wheels, with 31x10.5 Firestone Destination A/T tires. Glass Pack, High Flow Cat, S&B CAI, Custom Light Bar with 4 fog lights. 2 10" Rockford Fosgate P2 subs with 1000 watt Rockford Fosgate Amp, CB.
I don't doubt it. And I have a tough time swallowing the 7D pill

    They look super.

I do have a question for you guys...I know in low light the 70-200 f/2.8 is preferred, but how do you think a 400 or 300 f/4 would do? And low light I mean football field lighting.

Depends on the sport but I'd rather have the 70-200 f/2.8 than the reach of a {3,4}00 f/4. The caveat is with newer bodies, really high ISO ability helps mitigate the f/4 limit.

That's what I figured. I was thinking that the 7D would probably handle it well enough...but I know my 50D probably wouldn't be able to.

I do like the isolation f/2.8 gives you.

True. My Sigma does everything I need and more. It would just be nice to occasionally have more reach. But I still couldn't justify putting the funds towards it when I need to upgrade my body.
