It's between 130 and 195 around here....130 gets you 10 classes in a month. So-I'm pretty stoked we have an affiliate at work.

Last night I was feeling a little under the weather. Decided on simply finding a 1RM Front Squat...

Lol sheesh it's 60 bucks a month here

Anyone have any tips for handstand rig push-ups? Have a competition coming up and that's one of the possible movements in a WOD we might do.

I've started doing crossfit twice a day twice a week along with my regular strength training. It works really well for me at least. I'd say its best to not join a crossfit gym but join a gym that has rubber weights that you can use for olympic lifting. Mostly cuz dropping weights is a natural steroid. Just use the crossfit workouts to hit areas of your body that you haven't been able to hit to your satisfaction.

Yea except your not working out with other cross fitters that know what they are doing and can help you.

Also I'd increase to more the just twice a week. Your see more of a benefit from it

Agreed. I do it religiously three times a week, with one week every month getting a fourth one. Usually the week were I get the least amount of miles run, gets an extra CF day.

I average between 25-40 miles per week, min to max.

You can drop the weights in a cf gym. They are all rubber with rubber mats. Having people there to push you and coach you helps. I use to just do it at our fd cf gyms but going into a box helps a lot. The competitive edge kicks in.

Oh man rough WOD today. Back on the mainland for vacation so Ive been woding at my buddies box. The WOD today was:
    Strength
Every 30 seconds for 15 minutes we'd do a full squat clean
I started with 115 for first 10 mins then 135 for the rest
    WOD
30 squat clean and jerks for time 155lbs
Did it in 10:21. It was definitely a rough one. My legs are shot and my hands are torn up. But definitely a good WOD.
