So, I have recently purchased my Eibach springs and 5100s, but I taking a different installation approach. I plan to completely assemble the new struts, then simply swap them.
Here is my question. In between the top plate and the spring, is there a rubber isolator or pad of some sort? I'm not speaking of the bushing set for the strut shaft, I have that covered. It looks as though the flat of the spring will sit Ok on the top plate, just like the bottom sits on the strut cup, metal to metal... I'm just not sure. I've seen pictures where people have an isolator, but it may be a different type of spring.
    Any help, please.

God this is a tough decision - dropping the truck off tomorrow and I'm not sureif I should gamble with the Eibachs and the .85" setting. I have the 3 leaf pack in rear (no TSB) and the toytec 1.5" AAL. I'd like this thing to sit level

    Soon....
Anybody running these with Bilstein's at 0 and just a TSB or stock 4-leaf pack? If so, how close to the 1.6" net lift did it give you?

If its a 1/4" spacer it helps get rid of the "Taco lean." On 2nd gen Tacomas the drivers side sags more.

Debating on whether to wait on an alignment till I get some LR UCA's. How long have y'all been running this lift on stock UCA's? Just dunno if I wanna get some LR UCA's and then tires or tires sooner and LR UCA's later on.

Just depends. Some people have alignment issues and some dont. My buddy still has his stock UCA's and he says his alignment is just fine. Personally I would add aftermarket UCA's just to get that extra play and get the alignment back to factory specs.

That's what I was thinking, I just didn't wanna get an alignment, still have some vibe's, then get aftermarket UCA's and need to get another alignment. Maybe I'll go ahead and order some next week or so

Yeah if your going to get some then just wait until you install them....then get your final alignment.

Icon extended travel coilovers and rear shocks, Dakar leaf springs, Toytec U bolt flip, extended length Icon 2.0 rear shocks, Timbren Bump stops ,TC UCAs, Street Taco (Beefedtaco) 1 1/2" CB drop, 4x Innovation DOM tube sliders with kick outs, some extended brake lines,ATO front skid plate, ATO trans skid, ATO Hi Lift brackets, 60" Hi Lift jack and a pine tree air freshener.
I had an alignment done right after I installed the lift and like I stated a few pages back I had some wondering issues and the front tire where getting torn up. June I installed my TC UCAs and had it aligned and it is right on the money. I still have a slight 25mph vibe. I have beefed taco's cb drop on and that helped a little bit. I am getting ready to install a u bolt flip in the rear and while I have that apart I am going to throw in a 3* shim and see of that fixes her.:D
