HELP! Taking this girl out

Okay me (matt) and this girl (chelsea) we been good friends for the past 3 years or so. We've dated before broke up and still been good friends. I've always had a thing for her. the past 6-8 months our friendship kinda died down a bit. Well I kept on telling her im going to take her out on a date sometime soon.(started last week) Just so happends her birthday is today May 4th. We decided we both have free time when I get off work Thursday. So we got the day and time down. Now just need to find a place to eat or go. Im sure I'll be hungry after work. So food is the case and maybe a movie after. She eats just about any kind of food just like me. Can anyone give me some ideas on how to really impress her? We will be going to Chattanooga Tennessee for sure. Just not to positive on how to really impress her anymore. Maybe a fancy resturant downtown? Horse and buggy ride through the park? I dont know. If anyone is in that area or knows that area or just even has any suggestions, please fill me in. Thanx

I may not know much about that area, but i would suggest not over doing it on the romantic stuff. There's a chance she's expecting this to be a friends date. Take her out for a nice dinner as her birthday and just treat her nicely and make her laugh. Hopeyfully by the end of the night she'll be like "wow, he drove me to Chattanooga, bought me dinner, was a gentleman, and we had a great time!" That will impress her.

Now if its in the pants you're after, can't help ya there man.

 

lol before we had been like best friends and we decided not to date. But our friendship and died down and thats why im wanting another chance maybe things will work out. I would never be after in her pants. I have way way way to much respect for her that to try something like that right away.

Hey matt. Avoid anything romantic at this point and go somewhere FUN! Just try as you can to make her have a good time! Do you have anywhere fun around there like dave and busters?

 

see if the aquriem is open at night.

 

IMO, pizza and a movie! You surprise her with a birthday card. A nice and simple date. You can also learn more about your relationship with her - you can find out if she wants to start dating or does she just wants to be friends?

 

do dinner as planned. but i'm from cali so i don't know what's out there...i suggest something out of the ordinary that you would do, maybe a comedy show???

Matt, do the "fun" thing. Dinner, and maybe some playland area with putt-putt or something like that. At the sametime, make sure you treat lt like a DATE... Open car door for her. Dont get wasted drunk. FLOWERS for her birthday for sure.

Well, either the no pants attracted Martie, or the chloroform worked. It sure wasn't the oxen drawn Tacoma or the fusion powered civic. In retrospect your one lucky bastard.

 

Like the other guys said. Don't do anything to crazy for her. Let her like you for who you are, not where you take her for her bday. Yeah treat her a little bit more special since its her bday but not to much and you will be all right.

 

Oh and don't listen to Quagmire. He's a perve, but then again Family Guy is my favorite show!!! "Alll-Right!!!"

Haha, I don't know man with a 9" kift. You would have to lift her into the truck, which would be a good thing if she wore skirts!!! J/K man!!! Have fun, everything will work out.
