There is another long time member on here named jr97tacoma. Probably got him for having too similar of a name I think.

Or maybe it has to do with the years not matching up in his description:notsure:

I put 5100s on the front today and got 2 inches of lift. Looking pretty level if not a tad nose high. But a slightly used TSB leaf pack should cure that. Anyone have one they wanna sell me?

almost 100% sure you have to have a roof rack. i know the OEM will not work, it is only rated at 100 pounds and with you and maybe someone els, and the weight of the tent you will be way over that 100 pounds.

Thanks for the comments, it's a grillcraft. It's really nice and heavy gauge, not really just a flimsy mesh... Everyone thats seen it likes it :)

I ordered an Avid light bar with an extra bar below to protect the bottom of my center bumper. It will still be high enough to have access to the factory tow hookups under the bumper.

I'm going to prime it with red oxide then gloss black then a clear coat to match my step bars.

What do you think? Do you think it will still look good? I'll post pictures of it installed after I receive it.

I'm also having 2 tabs put on for a couple of Rigid lights like the ones in the picture. I may put them on top or hang them under the top bar from the two tabs.

'Got my intake tube and filter to fit on 2012 Tacoma V6.
(Some people may call this CAI or cold air intake, which I REFUSE to call it)...

*(And, Yes, 2012 is different, there is an air pump in the way)...

Clean install. No fab needed. 1 $1 part from Home Depot, some deep thought, and patience was all that was required :)
... [ This one is an AEM Dryflow / K&N Tube hybrid but should work for any older intake... ]

Anyone interested in a write up ?
