Hey Couchpotato, just thought I would chime in on the rear shock question. The dimensions we came up with for the rear shocks is about 1" longer than stock overall with .5" more stroke. This, in our opinion, keeps you in a safe position for stock through 2" of lift using stock springs with AAL or blocks. That being said, we do have customers using the shocks with a lift that is more in the range of 2.5". The amount of lift is only one piece of the equation, travel gain (or loss) is another big consideration and I simply don't have the specs on the Dakar stack. I am sure the manufacturer can give you the shock requirements which we can compare to our design and see exactly where we are...dont want to play the guessing game on something like this!

    Hey pollock21,

Did you remove your swaybar? Just curious as I want to improve both off road suspension performance and maintain my on road performance (I go around tight corners fast).

I'm sad to say that I've had nothing but problems with ishock. Especially after finding out they operate out of a residential home in the hills of Alpine, Ca. It cost me time and money, I finally took everything off and gave my mid travel kit away, especially after seeing some was built in china and just added ishock colors. Sorry, but don't waste your money and serious downtime! That's just my experience.

Perhaps you may actually want to show some pictures of any issues you've had, details on what happened as well as what caused it? How were you using the truck when it happened?

I believe you're gonna need some backup if you want anyone to take your opinion seriously on here. To make a statement like that and have 1 post to your name seems very suspicious.

I still have nothing but great things to say about my kit. What small issues I had were worked through with amazing customer service. Knock on wood of course, sometimes sh!t happens.

I am also highly surprised you would give away a $1600 kit. #1 if it was that bad, why not try for a refund? #2, if it was that bad, why would you give it to someone else and dump all these terrible problems on them?

Obviously we have had very different experiences, but I have provided everyone with details as to my experience rather than a bunch of random statements with no backup or details whatsoever.

I don't want to sound like I'm flat out calling you a liar, I just want you to know that with a post count of 1, you're gonna need to be a little more detailed than you were in your post. Right now you sound like someone with a personal grudge trying to trash their new product. My .02.

Hey Tommy, have we met or talked before? I have no record or memory of talking to a Tommy in Maryland personally but I'll talk to the rest of the boys when they get in.

Run out of a residencial home? Made in China? Wow, I really must have pissed you off at some point!

I have had great experience with support from iShock. I had one lil hangup and it was sorted with a phonecall to Darren... It's a lil squeaky but show me an off-road suspension that isn't, lol.

Pollock21 is the kit still treating you well? Do you do mainly slow stuff like the videos or do you go out and drift and mob through whoops with the kit?
