Hi-lift Preliminary setup

Alright.

So I'm looking to get a high lift jack.

I've done a fair amount of research for the things I would need.

Here is what I have the list up to.

1. Jack
2. Sliders (Revenge)
3. Slee Jac-Kof Tool
4. Hi-Lift Jack Mount (Maybe Demello Bed Bar)
Edit: 5. Base Plate

One of the things I need to figure out is which style jack is right for me, and what length.

Also, is there anything else that I might need?

Any help is appreciated.

i was gonna get the base plate, so that when your jacking on soft ground you can get a better result.

you should be fine with the 42"

 

Oh yea, I forgot about the base plate.

Is there really much difference in quality between the stamped and cast?

 

i dunno, i usually buy the best, but sometimes its a waste...

Rad. The 48" would fit in the width of the bed right?

I think it's somewhere around 56". Or am I wrong?

I am in the works to get a prerunner tiregate, and a 5th wheel and tire.

Hopefully I will have a good setup to run the woods a little harder without worrying if I will be able to get back out later. Haha

Well, I probably won't be lifting from the bumper. So I don't know if I will need that much height. I will most likely lift from the sliders or the wheels. It makes sense to get a 60" if I had a bumper though.

So you are using the Hi-lift Xtreme?

Is there really any difference between the Xtreme, and the all cast, besides the coatings and the spreader attachment?

If there isn't, then I might just buy the red all-cast, and the buy the Off Road Kit.
