    In CO its not a primary offense. But I can follow you till you don't use your turn signal then check your tint. :cool:

    (3) (a) Except as provided in paragraph (b) of this subsection (3), any person who violates any provision of this section commits a class B traffic infraction.

    (b) Any person who installs, covers, or treats a windshield or window so that the windshield or window does not meet the requirements of paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars nor more than five thousand dollars.

    Otherwise its a 50 dollar ticket with a 16 dollar surcharge.

    hahah ever since I got my license my friends have given me shit for always driving the speed limit.

    However I have been known to take advantage of my trucks ground clearance/tires/trail armor in urban areas. Especially when the ground is covered in snow.

    $66 for a window tint ticket...not too bad. I was thinking $100+. It pays off to know how to talk to the Officer stopping you. It's a bs "f u" ticket that can generally be avoided pending upon your attitude/honesty and the Officers mindset.
