will adding an AAL to OME dakars add any lift or would i need something with more "arc" to see a difference?

also, has anyone put on and taken off plasti-dip on their paint job? did it mess with the colour/finish when you took it off?

I never adjust mine but it's easy to do so. Just roll backwards and yank on the e brake handle. There is a self adjuster in the drum brake that puts em at the perfect distance from the drum when the e-brake is released.

Took off the bug deflector and cleaned off the adhesive from the rubber bumpers. Turned out alright! Who knew WD-40 worked so well for removing adhesive??

^Nice, looks very clean. I wish my truck had one from the first day, I have chips in my paint all over the front edge :( Guess its time for some touch up paint.

That's why I love silver. It hides so much shit like tree branch scratches (at least a little bit).

^Yeah, funny thing is I think I'm going to put it back on. I took it off because I wasn't sure I liked the look of it and since it was missing a couple of the rubber bumpers the sides fluttered like crazy even at just 40 mph. I thought maybe I'd try and sell it, but the more I think about it the more I want to put it back on. I drove the truck yesterday with it off and I'd swear my windshield turned into a bug magnet. Plus, I noticed there wasn't a single chip in the paint on the front of the hood.

Why must I be so indecisive!?!? :goingcrazy:

Wheeler's five pack leaf springs, Bilstein 5100s (rear), front tint, windshield top tint, Century Camper Shell/Cap/Topper, Wade window visors, Wade bug shield, cassette adaptor (so I can play Slacker Radio via my phone!), Sunday Blues with Dar sticker, Wounded Warrior Project sticker, no NRA sticker 'cause I don't wanna advertise ;-)
That's funny, I put the shield on the front of my hood because it was covered with rock chips. The prior owner had done a bad job touching them up, so I didn't want to look at them all the time ;)

The D6XL AAL for the Dakars will add between .75 - 1" of additional lift. It's not designed to add more lift but to increase the spring rate. Part of the increase in height is just from adding the thickness of another leaf into the packs, but on mine I did see about a 1" increase in height.

    Too few to list.
This is exactly why I went with a manual. Maybe you can find one out of a wreck?
