16.5 inch wheel?

    8 inch alcan custom leaf packs, ome 885's powdercoated white, bilstein 5100's all the way around with 12 inch travel on the rear, Light Racing Upper Control Arms, Sway bar removed, 17x9 kmc strike. 35x12.50 nitto Trail Grapplers.     alright so heres the dilemma. im wanting to run a 16.5 inch wheel and i found one i like. just a steel wheel for the winter. i have 8 inches of lift so im going to run 37's. my question here is i have the pro comp 6 inch and i added 2 inches but on pro comps website they say you have to run 18s? im running 17s right now why can t you run a 16.5 inch wheel? or can you and there just being stupid. if you cant what is the problem that stop you from doing it? it just confuses me because my truck came stock with 16 inch wheels what stops it now? or can i actually even run a 16 inch wheel?

    what 37s are you getting? im going to assume the hummer take offs since your going with a 16.5 inch wheel. if so i hate you, i want to do that so bad.

    im not worried about the tires yet ben i need to know if i can run that wheel or not lol

    You have access to a 16" wheel? Slap it on and see if it hits. If it doesn't, then I see no reason why a 16.5" won't.

    you must get those tires. 4 for 495, cant beat it! im so jelly. sorry i cant help with your wheel situation.

    You should be able to rectify that with backspacing I would think.

    OME 3" lift with 885 coils. OME Shocks with TSB 1.5 AAL. 285/75/16 KM2s. XD Hoss 16" wheels. DDM Tuning 6000K HIDs, H10 6000K Fogs. BHLM. Debaged. 20% tint on front windows.
    I think A wheel that size is needed for to clear the Tie-Rods.
