It has to be on the front of the car, not less then 12 inches from the ground from the bottom of the plate and has to be clearly visible, securely attached horizontally and does not swing.

It also has to be free from any cover, film, dirt etc that would prevent an automatic plate reading device from reading the plate. This includes tinted, smoked or clear plastic covers.

They get really finnicky and say that the year tab of the registration has to be in the bottom right corner and that month has to be in the bottom left corner.

Even my plate dates aren't like that.

I only have plate dates on my rear plate, not the front. They only provide one set of stickers.

Finally got the tires on the truck! 35" Treadwright Guard Dog's on a 3" OME lift with a 1" body lift. I still have to do some more trimming on my cab mounts (like a 1/2") but everything else is clearing fine! I'm betting that Rockgecko and I are the only DCLB trucks with this set-up on this forum as far as I know

to many to list, check the build thread
Hiking west maroon pass today, had to ditch the idea of going all the way to Crested Butte because of construction on scolfeild pass, no shuttle service down to town.

Should still be an awesome day today

DCLB FTMFW! I want to do 35 s but heard it requires ALOT of trimming. The body lift probably helped with that though. What did that cost you, if you don't mind me asking?

now the 35s look down right bad ass.... but is that really the best combo for that truck? i read a write up that said the perfect tire size for a truck is the one that fits into the wheel well at full stuff...

    discuss :)

I don't know about the ride quality while driving on the road, but mileage would definitely go down. The lift is what made me want to do it, but you're right, if it doesn't stuff in as well you just create new problems. I plan on going with 285/75/16 for a compromise. Small gain in clearance but not so much risk of hitting control arms and such. Some trimming and CMC probably needed.

Oh and it's snowing at my place! Super exciting. And I'm going tomorrow to look at a couple cabins up on storm mountain near Estes. There is a decent wheeling trail minutes away. One of them is completely solar and propane. Off the grid :)
