What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I made and installed a two piece rear deck for my Access cab

 

that sux you had to make one the older access cab came like that already.

 

I did the sub first, then I wanted one level to use back there. I am happy now.

 

They're difficult to find and have been. When I bought it almost 10yrs ago I flew to NJ to buy it and had it shipped back. Same year I got my Typhoon in fact. Paid cash for both. It was a good year so I decided to reward myself by buying two vehicles I always dreamed of owning. Almost bought a Lamborghini Gallardo the next year but decided that real estate was a better investment. Boy was I wrong. Had I stroked the check for the Lambo I would have had a blast! Sure I would have lost money but not as much as I ultimately lost in real estate.

Nice work! Is that the pre-made sub box that I've seen or did you roll your own based on that style? I've wanted to replace my factory sub with something better and would also like a shelf back there for our dog. We have trained them to get in the back whenever we get to our destination because it's easier to get them in/out but in the Tacoma it's difficult for the little guy to get back there. Also, there are times I want to set something on a flat surface that's larger than the small flat spot under the folded up seat.

 

Put on my AntennaX 13" and my Salex Center Console Organizer. Baby steps for now!

i've owned 3 mkIII supras, all turbo's, there isn't a bigger rolling pile of crap i could think of.

 

now, mkIV on the other hand.....

 

You apparently never owned/mod'd a 1st gen DSM.

 

i didnt, but i was always jelly of the DSM guys.. AWD...

 

Got some new wipers and finally washed and waxed the Centailia mud off of it.

Looks good Kyle, one thing tho. Did you want to leave the shift colors orange?

 

Yeah everything else was kept stock, I didn't wanna get too crazy.

 

It's one led for the background on the shifter. The single ones are green for when you shift into that gear. Just FYI
