I did not have to sign at all. But then again, I was sitting on the curb waiting for him.

Sergio was telling me that they have a system that is supposed to send the email confirmation as soon as you order it. But since NONE of us got it right away, they found out that they are back logged and so when they put ours in, there are still others in front of ours that need to be sent before ours, so what happens is, our confirmations "get in line" to be sent.

BUT!! When you call back to ask why you didn't get the email, the person answering the phone can personally email you right then and there.

That's what happened to me. Sergio sent it as we were on the phone and when I hung up I had three emails. One from him and two from two other employees.

That has happened to me before. Leaving packages at the door is left up to the driver's discretion even if signing for the package is not requested.

I've had that happen as well. It really depends on the driver. Some of the drivers are nicer than others really.

We had a awesome UPS driver for a while. If his original delivery was kinda early (before 5ish PM, normal work hours) he would swing back around and try again to try to catch us at home later. He did this more than once if the package had obvious markings that might lead to it getting stolen, even if it didn't require a signature. He told me on the 2nd pass that "I'm sorry, I just didn't feel comfortable leaving this here" even though he could.

We have also had really bad drivers. We had a FedEx driver that would just run up and leave the "no one home to accept" notice on the door and run back to the truck (no knock or doorbell attempt) while I was waiting inside for the package. I'm pretty sure I got this guy fired (or moved to a different route) and my complaint came in quicker than his "not available" time code on the scanner.

One thing you can do once you get the tracking information and know you will not be home for the delivery is just log on to the respective website (fedex/ups) and have them hold the item it at a specific location. You need to do this while it is "in transit" and not "out for delivery". Once it is on the truck and "out for delivery" it can only be set to pickup the next day.

Hey guys. I too missed the FedEx delivery guy by about 30 minutes yesterday so I had it held at a FedEx location near my house. I was able to pick it up today and only install one of my front seats due to the sun going down. I had some questions for those who installed theirs already. There are some hooks pictured below and I have no idea where to hook them on to. I have looked on their website and on here to see if anyone else had this problem, but couldn't find anything. Also, I am having problems with the catcher skirt. I tucked it under the back of the seat, but it's bulging out and it really bothers me. I saw some people cut it off, but I really don't want to do that. Do you folks have any suggestions? Sorry for the bad phone pics. Mahalos in advance for any responses.

I had to call twice to ask for a copy of the invoice. I finally called a third time and the invoice was sent. They had the wrong street (St. vs. Rd.) marked which would have been possibly delivered to a different door! Glad I persisted and they made the change. I also couldn't read a lot of their codes on their invoice so I had them repeat the order to me to make sure everything was right. Frustrating process if you ask me.

Got the shipping email today... Earlier than I was expecting. For those that got front and rears, did they come in 1 or 2 boxes/packages.

Those hooks connect to the bottom of the seat... just pull them under the seat and secure then on the seat springs under the seat and you will be fine.

Got mine yesterday!! No problems with FedEx "signing" option like some of you are having. I didn't get in from my trip until 730pm and there the box sat on my front door porch area. On a side note, I did some temp work for FedEx during the holidays a few years back and most times it was our discretion to leave a package. Discretion most times was defined by the ability of the driver to "hide" the package well enough for vandals (yes there are tons out there) to not be able to drive by and see the package sitting on a doorstep, etc. If the package is in view, alot of times the driver will keep it. Better to delay the arrival than for the customer to never get it at all. ;(

Covers turned out great (out of the box). After a long stressful week, I'm looking so forward to cracking a few cold ones and installing these covers and some bed lights today!!

    Cheers!

My skirt causes the same bulging as yours does, I thought I did something wrong but if yours is the same, I feel better. As for the hooks, mine didn't have those. I had straps with buckles that clipped to the other buckles that were on the front straps...

Apparently I am a problem child. I placed an order on Friday the last day to order, no problems. Get a call Monday saying my card had been declined :notsure: So I give them a different credit card and no problems. Tuesday (yesterday) I got a call from David saying that I can order up until yesterday (Thursday) since I had missed the deadline???? I tell them that I already ordered and they eventually find it and he said that he would get it processed. I again get a call Today (Friday) asking what seats I have (normal or TRD). I am not sure I like what is going on here. Maybe its just me but this seems like a big jumbled mess, and I hope I get what I ordered. The customer service is great with the calls and what not but behind the scenes seems iffy.

OGTaco and BabyTruck, I too notice this problem with the folded "up" coin catcher thing. It bothered me too so I ended up going back and using basic duct tape over the corners of the catcher (the part that is causing the protrusion the most) as well as a third strip in the middle and taped from bottom up over the top and behind/inside the seat pocket on the back of each seat. Sorry I don't have pics but it'd be a pain the ass to go back and unhook stuff to get the shot. ;)

So it didn't completely solve the problem but definitely cut down on the eyesore of those corners bulging out from beneath the okole cover. So in conclusion......3 strips of duct tape, two on the ends to "smooth" over the protruding corner and one in the middle to secure it further. Easy fix for those that don't want to cut the "coin catcher" panel. Hope it helps. Pics of general covers to come! ;)

Got em' installed! ;) Found out on the second seat that it's much easier to remove the 4 seat bolts and be able to maneuver the seat up and down to get up under and organize the straps. I'm OCD sometimes so I wanted everything perfect, even the out of sight stuff. (more so to keep things from getting caught in the tracks and putting pressure on the airbag components.) Had fun, got a buzz, and love my truck even more now.

Thanks for the tip with the duct tape, Av8er! I think I'll try that when I get in the mood to unclip and unstrap it all. LOL!

Ha, I know. It'll take a 6 pack to go back and do it again. I actually only did the tape thing to one side after seeing the "finished product" but ran out of daylight, beer, and ambition to do the other side. Another day.....;)

Got mine installed an hour ago and was disgustet by the coin catcher bulge too. Interesting approach with the duct tape. I was thinking of using a small towel across it to cover the nipples. A "bra" if you will haha.

Also, anyone know how to install the back covers on the jump seats? I'm assuming I have to remove the panel.

Not sure I understand the "coin catcher" thing. Is this something unique to the access cab and tray on the fold down seat? Or, are you just talking about the seat back pockets? I ordered seat back pockets on my covers, so do you think that will help?

BTW Av8er, it ain't an official mod if there isn't any blood.

Oh well, they are supposed to arrive tomorrow. Truck needs a good bath inside and out as well as an oil change. Throw in installing front and back covers and it sounds like a full day.

Cheers bud! It hurt but was worth it. ;) The "coin catcher" thing was on the back of the front bucket (trd double cab) seats. Not sure if the other models have them or not. I would assume so.

It's basically just a flap that wraps around from the back rear of the seats to underneath and clips out-of-sight under each seat. It literally catches coins and crap that fall in between the upper half of the seat and the lower half. You have to flip it up and not use it naturally in order to install the Okole's. (weird but necessary). Not a big deal for most folks but it goes against it's natural tendency so we're trying to figure a way to lessen the eye sore of it from the back seat viewpoint as the corners of it poke out of the Okole neoprene fabric a little.

I would hate for my 2 yr. old, who is slinging goldfish, juice, and toddler farts all over the backseat to be bothered by such visual displeasure. ;) Good luck with your covers. kind of a pain to install but the return on investment is huge. Loving the look of them!! Plus 3 HP gain-
