Leo is a great guy Jake, he's been a big help to me on some builds, on a side note I'm going to give you a diamond bit of insider knowledge, you find yourself a 1 ton Chevy commercial S-10 & as fast as you can get the rear leaf springs

The holy graille of factory SUA, probably THE best thought out & constructed set of leafs I've seen to date.....including aftermarkets..

well now that there are no more races in plaster city you have to travel to nevada(primm, laughlin, reno), highdesert (barstow, lucerne) or mejico, for any fun.

 those look sweet. if i'm up there i would go. i wanted to go to the race a couple weeks ago, but we wents on a 2 day fishing trip instead, woulda been cheaper to go to the race.

let me know i you need help building anything, I'm decent with a grinder and drill, maybe we could build some square sliders with kick outs sometime.
next year when we go to mississippi i want to spend a day at the pick and pull and see if i can find a decent 2.7, so if i haven't gotten youre spring by then i might look around and see what i can see. as long as i can carry 4 guns, ammo, chainsaw, 15 gallons of gas and a 4 wheeler without being on the bump stops, i'll be happy.

the pics are the general outline of the mount for my roll bar, but they will be made from 1/4 inch steel instead of 1/10th inch.

getting really long but, reason not to mount my cb whip frame level between the cab and bed? i would just run a piece of steel across.

i might make it to laughlin, reno or even bartsow, i have friends in kingman, AZ that i try to visit a couple times a year and i could go up for the races and stay at there place on the way back down.

Once again those damn bastards taking away our fun for no god reason, ,this state is awesome for over-self-regulation.

To the point where we need an ASS CATALYST in order to fart...

Soon all racing will be banned in California. We need to change the state motto, not sure we have one. but I like this one.

California, where having fun is illegal! And if you find something fun and its legal, it wont be for long!!

    Damnit I snapped again, lol.

Well, off to work (about 30 ft away), I am changing a front wheel bearing on a 2nd gen Taco, gotta pull the entire spindle just to press it off, then I am going to go use a friends tire machine later so I can patch the sidewall of my spare tire I ruined on the Jeep over the weekend in Havasu, home of the ROCKS!! A damn shiner got me...

I really need to get it ready for next weekend if I can, I would so love to have coilovers on the rear for that trip, actually the rear coilovers will make the most difference in the fast stuff like Ocotillo more so. I guess it would still be fine, but I want the full Trophy Jeep, not just the front part, lol.

I am also thinking about hitting Lawrence Welk Tomorrow, anybody down for a little local run? Well local for me anyway..

Cant you just unbolt the hub from the spindle? Easier than taking the entire spindle off :notsure:

Traction bars that I make ore for 2wd street applications to eliminate axle wrap.
And eventually I may live in AZ for good. but for now I shall be raped daily here.
    Fine....

Yes, thats what I did after looking at it, the assy is removed, now I am just going to try and remove the hub from the bearing, its not going easy..I already broke a puller trying to remove it, gonna try another way, what a pain, lol.

Yeah, I heard separating the bearing from the hub can be a PITA. Pressing them out would be your best bet
