Very Nice!!! :D That is the same emblem I plan on using. I think I may epoxy some bolts onto it and go that route. Sounds like it has worked great for others and can be changed out easily if ever needed! Nice if I want to change the look now and then.

 "Not sure how you treat your truck, but mine see's a good deal of water/mud. "

    Well, you're right I guess, .. And I don't disagree ,,, but that's some funny shit!

["I dont how you treat YOUR truck, but me, well, I beat the shit out of MINE !" ... LOL, sorry that was just funny....]

It is mostly sealed. There is not a gap at the bottom, I think the mounting bracket in the picture just makes it look like a gap. Yes there is some gap at the water resi side. (And by the way, my manifolds (not headers) are in the back, not the front. I'm just sayin ...)

Installed an Airaid intake... 48 steps in the instructions, which were all slightly incorrect and backwards. This shit is loud. I will take pics in daylight, but what a long dammed install. I should have done AEM route but couldn't find a v6 2012 model. But now that it's in, pretty dammed happy with it.

installed my Truck bed tent from Napierz, it look awesome. I forgot to take pics of it, we are headed out of town for a couple weeks, so gonna let it sit in the garage and allow for the poles to stretch the material out for a little while, then tackle that bad boy with that spray that waterproofs the material.

Yesterday I finally took my 2012 DCLB in and got 5% tint on the rear doors and back window and 15% on the drivers and passengers doors. It's DARK! Since I'm only home about 5 days a month I haven't had a chance to get much done with it and still haven't hit 1000 miles on the odometer but might get there today. We just hit our slow season waiting on the ice to build so I can head back north for the winter so I might get some quality time with it for a month or two.

The Miss (who bought it for me a couple months ago) said last night after coming home from the tint shop that she wants a small lift so I'm going to look into a 3" on the front and 2" on the rear. I don't want to go too much and start messing up the steering and driveline so while I'm off this weekend I'm going to spend some time reading through the 1000's of pages on here and figure out the best solution.

    Pics to follow shortly.

Some people have had problems with their overhead display dying on them. Apparently it is a case of bad resistors so take out the old and put in some new and it works again.

I didnt even replace them. Mostly the problem is just where the resistor is soldered on breaks for whatever reason. All you need to do it resolder the connections and you should be good to go.

Replaced the chrome rear bumper with a color matched bumper. Finally, no more chrome (well, other than the dual exhaust and the wheel rings, lol). Chrome bumper is up for grabs if someone wants to make me a decent offer on it (would like $125 OBO + shipping or local pickup)....
