"Powder Puff Race for the Cure" - T-Shirts for sale to raise race funds

The girls are on their third and final lap and so far so good...

 

Alright guys!!!! Race is over for us!! We broke two leaf springs, one last night and one today on the 3rd lap. We were cleared to start a 4th lap but were not able to due to The leaf spring.

Huge thanks to everyone that bought a shirt, my sponsors, team mates, chase crew and especially engage offroad and Hassim for working so hard to get the truck finished in time!!!!

That was the best experience!!! We made good time and might come in 2nd or 3rd when they announce places I will let you guys know!!!

Also shirts are home! I will start shipping this week!!!

 

Wish we were there...I bet that was awesome. Meh, I hate my work schedule.

 

So you girls were running hard enough to break a pair of the 50T springs..BALLING !

At least we will get our shirts so we can rock them if nothing else.

 

so we got 5th place!! But I had the fastest lap of our class overall, averaging 30.9mph which was faster than a girl that races and was in her own race truck

Thanks guys!! That was by far the best experience of my life! I am just tickled pink that we overcame so much (truck getting finished just on time thanks to engage pulling all nighters all week, not getting to pre run until the night before at like 1am then breaking it and Hass driving back to Pomona in the middle of the night to get a new leaf spring so we could still race, not to mention raising the funds last minute thank you guys )

I am just so happy that we placed OK, not first but we all had fun.

 

Congratulations! For some reason I thought the race was Sunday though. And how were you averaging 31 mph in the kitchen??
