The place seems pretty decent. They have a nice benefit package, a nice gym, pay is OK, not great. It is 12 hour shifts, 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights. They told me I would move up pretty quick if I get hired.

up here it's $5-8 more per pizza

 

last season was the most profitable in NHL history, revenue was something like $3.3 billion.
IMO the owners want the players to take less out of principle more than anything.

I worked swing shifts at Dow for ten years, not the best, but I have learned how to sleep during the day when I need to. I'd probably stay on swing shifts for at least a year, then have a shot for straight days.

 

spent many years on swing shift. Sometimes it was better.... I actually got things done during the day, where after coming home from working day shift, was too pooped (aka lazy) to do any yard work, etc... Never had a problem sleeping.
