    no surplus. under the previous CBA 57% of hockey related revenue went to the players, 43% went to the owners. they are in disagreement on how to divide hockey related revenue for the next CBA, owners want the players to take a pay cut.

    I agree that athletes in all pro sports make unjustifiable amounts of money, but paying them less just puts more money in the owners pockets.
    lowering player salaries is not going to lower ticket prices.

    I haz this issue also. :( At first it sucks, then you get the hang of it and it's all fine. I have ended up cooking at home a bunch more.

    Seattle is getting better, but good gluten-free food (particularly GF bread) is stupid expensive. Udi's is a good brand if you can get it - their bread is pretty close to the real thing.

    Omission by Widmer brewing is by far the best GF beer I've had. Just re-confirmed that tonight with a few. :D

    400 is quite a bit for a month, I've been tracking my time and miles for a bit over a year. I spent last winter in Florida, so that helped. I'm not sure I'll be able to keep that up over this winter here in Connecticut. I got some cold weather riding stuff, but I think when it gets below about 45 I'll find it easy to stay home and light a fire! I have come home from rides in the past with my water bottle frozen solid.:eek:

    BTY if you are cleaning the engine compartment a pair of microfiber gloves put over some inexpensive latex gloves allow you to clean the engine compartment easier than a brush.
