Fox or toytec + TC

well im separating from the air force in about a month and I want to buy myself a gift. Im thinking real hard about the fox 2.0's
but I already have a new pair of 5100's sitting in the box in my living room.
IDK if I should just get the toytec springs that go with the billys and add some TC uca's or go all out and buy the Fox's and add the UCA'a later?

 

You already have the 5100's, so adding the coils for $429 would be far cheaper than the Fox's. Also, adding the UCA's is going to improve your flex and ride quality like woah.

Yea I want the fox's really bad. I was starting to talk myself out of it but Im 98% sure ill be placing my order on wed.

Now what exactly do the spring rate numbers involve? the lower the number the softer the spring?

 

yeah i would even compare the two in my opinion fox has its rep for being damn good, if i didnt have kings i would have had fox's

if i was to do it again i would go with fox with the adjusters, but got a good deal on the saw's and they are great but would like to be able to adjust them.

nah I never called them. Ive decided to just go ahead and get the fox's and add the UCA's later

 

keason,u will LOVE the foxs.im so glad i got them.the adjustability of ride(1 threw 8)is fantastic.i highly reccomend them.check my gallery,i got some pics there.and i went with the lruca.just dont do enough HARD flying threw the air at 50mph wheeling.mine is all slow rock/mud style.good luck.

 

how does the remote part attach to the frame? does it go between the frame and swaybar?

 

yes u r correct on the frame and sway bar.it comes with the bracketry to mount it.

 

So i have pretty much decided that i am going to get the fox 2.0 coilovers from allpro, as well as the 2.0 rear fox shox. I will be putting them on my 09 DC 4x4 tacoma and I would like to achieve a 3" lift. On side not I have not had the TSB done on my truck, but i'm going to bring it to the dealer and try to get it done. What else would I need if I had the TSB done, and what else would I need if I did not have the TSB done?
