My check engine light came on today while driving. All fluids up to par running just fine not shuddering or anything just the light poped on. Only thing I saw that was a lil low right at minimum so I added some and took the negative battery terminal off for a minute nd put it back on started it up no light drove it 10 miles with nothing don't get it! Any help?

Its a good idea to read the code when you get a check engine light. It will tell you which sensor is triggering the light.

The only time 1gen trucks are low is because there is a leak. 2gen shares its reservoir with the brakes. 1gen has a separate reservoir.

That explains why I could never find the resi for the clutch on my second gen.... and no low clutch will not throw a check engine code.

CEL comes from the emission/fuel system.

Common culprit if the engine seems to be running normally is the gas cap is not sealing properly... either because it's gone bad, or it's not fully tightened down. That's a cheap and easy fix, but without knowing the P0xxx code, we can't help you any more than that.
