    No, rear shocks I might suggest 3rd behind Fox and King but Icon coilovers I would never suggest to anybody. They r notorious for the top plates sheering off which is a catastrophic failure. I have never heard of a failure like that in a King or Fox. And the springs u mentioned r the best option for ur truck and I think the ucas explanation was pretty easy to understand. The 1.25 uniball ucas a twice the price for a reason

    yeah that is true. i’m not set on the icons. just something i was looking at. and yeah i know it’s a lot better, but idk if i want to spend that on UCAs.

    Now of coarse I know that not ALL icons fail and there r plenty of people that don't have any problems with them, I just want to point out the odds of them failing over king or fox is infinite because it doesnt happen with those 2 companys. I just prefer guaranteed over a maybe, maybe not. And the ball joint camburgs r the best ball joint ucas u can buy, their downfall is the ball joint though. So ur gonna get a very good ” stock” replacement part but its still using stock, weak parts. But if thats all u wanna spend then def get those arms because they r still a lot better then stock

    yeah. i’m pretty much wanting to get best lift i can for the money. if i really wanted i could get 5100’s and AAL like every other person on here. but i’m wanting a better lift than that. 1. AAL is not going to do shit when i add a tool box and a rear plate bumper with tire gate and hi lift mount and 1 or 2 jerry cans.

    An aal for anyone should be a quick lift option, because u can't wait to save for a leaf pack, that is temporary. U r still using the same crappy stock leafs, just adding one to lift ur truck with. I wouldn't waste ur money on that either dude! Stick with buying the ap expos if u plan on running a lot of weight at all times.

    yeah i agree. and thats why i may have to wait longer to lift but i won’t be going back at it and redoing everything in 6 months or less. their is think i don’t like to do the cheap way. i’d rather spend more money and do it right the first time, instead of spending even more money and doing it the cheap way first. same with the 5100’s since i’ll be adding a plate bumper with the 3 hoop and a winch and extra lights, i don’t want it to sang at all really, and i just want a better ride with all that extra weight. and i’ll have a roof rack that i may use some. (camping or traveling)

    yeah, also i understand the expo pack sits level at 3” with 400 to 500# in the bed. so if you don’t have anything it should sit higher in the rear than the front. witch i kinda like a 1/2” to 2” higher in the rear.:eek::cool:

    Agreed.. I'm so dang indecisive... I don't know if spindles will be enough or if I will want to set the front billies at .85 or whatever... Because that will change my mind on whether I get 3" standard or 4" expo leaf pack... Damn you TacomaWorld!!!!!!!!!!! Hahaha

    for the front its not about shocks as much as it is springs. 5100 would work fine as long as u have springs rated for however much weight u r gonna run. If u want ur front end to be soft put some light springs on like #600, if u want it stiffer put some #700 on. And then on top of that u can adjust ur ride even more with the springs by adding preload or subtracting preload. Then u take ur shocks into consideration. The same with the rear, ur springs play a huge part into ur ride quality and how much weight u can carry

    If u r doin 4” spindles then u r gonna want expos. The best part about spindles is they r what provides all ur lift so that way u can leave ur co's with no preload
