Gorilla seems to have the best options... I usually just order them through Discount Tire though and pick them up there. For some reason, they don't (or at least didn't) sell them direct.

Do 1st gen Tacomas have the 8.4" in the back aswell? If so someone is selling 4.10 gears and I was wondering if they would fit my second gen. Are they difficult to install new gearing?

 

The 1st gens have the 8.4" if it doesnt have an e-locker in it. But If the 3rd member does have an e-locker than it has an 8".

 

just giving you guys a heads up as i might be moving to flagstaff here in about a little over a year (spring 2014). Hopefully you got some open dez somewhat close by.

so i read the title of the vid and almost clicked away, but god damm! cant judge a book by its cover. not gonna lie, that was pretty cool how they had that soo dialed and perfected! such a long routine too! impressed...


And as for the truck, i got the frame boxed up. Lots of welding, grinding, cutting, more welding, and other BS. but got it all done and did a few other things while i had the shop all to myself for the day

Can you replace the covers of the stock switches with these?

Or do you need to buy the switch body from them as well as the cover?

 

I don't think so because those are Rockers. Wil at sierra expeditions has the rockers and some of those covers in stock last time I was there

 

Yeah I had a feeling. I like the look of these better than the rockers. They tend to fit the stock look more.

Guess I'll be making a trip down there today or tomorrow.

 

The switch in your link is the new style Rocker, we can absolutely get the new style for you in whatever design you want however I think that the LEDs are a little too bright in the switch for the new cover.

we have a bunch of the classic style in stock right now and we can order you any of the other designs, just stop in an take a look!

I will swing by the shop after work Tuesday and say hello, go over ideas.

The led's that come with it are no concern to me as I am going to remove them and install UV led's to match the rest of my truck. I'm more so just wanting it to match the stock switches as close as possible.
