    Were the Tioga's tubeless compatible?

Congrats on selling the Stumpy Eddie! Enjoy shredding on that '13!

Tioga's not tubeless compatible. I would like to know if I need a wider tire with these rims or if I can do this ( tubeless conversion) with the rims I have.

I've experimented with non tubeless with little to no luck, most recently with Nevegals. I think alot of the issues may arise from the looser bead fit.

Well we took a nice bike ride today. It took about an hour to prep the truck and get the bikes loaded up. Took about 80 minutes to get where we needed to go. I was excited to take the new Stumpy out for a first ride. My wife hurt her back bad yesterday and I knew she was going to be at half speed. Well cutting to the chase, I gave her my bike so she wasnt going to have a hard time with shifting and not having to pull 2 kids around in the rickshaw. I knew her bike was a POS.... but when I took a little short cut around the stones to make it to the parking lot I realized what a heap I was riding..... went off pavement, kind of steep went nice and slow since the kids were attached to the bike and went do hard and fast. Everyone is ok, what happened was her front shock was really loose and the front wheel went right as I was steering left..... I got up quick. The kids were cracking up.... I was more mad then hurt since the wife was just cruising by me looking at me like I dont know how to ride a bike!!! That was really funny.... I got up fixed the front fork, or so I thought. I get back on and luckily we were within 200 yards from the parking lot and it happened again, but I was riding straight on pavement and I didnt fall. I loaded everything back up and when it came to putting her bike on the rack I see that the front wheel did a 180 and was now rear facing.... that was funny and we both looked at each other and laughed. I have been telling her that I want to get her a new bike.... hopefully this pushes her over the edge and she breaks down and lets me. Sorry long winded but it was a funny story, hopefully it is relayed in this post..... overall still a really good day.
