I wanted someone close by to make a purchase & have them do the install. Couldn't be happier with the results. The truck is still basically new, with less than 3k miles on it. This winter I hope to load up some dirt bikes and head to Big Bend NP, Texas with my new toy.

Parsons Branch Rd is an unimproved one way road out of Cades Cove (inside the Smokey Mountains National Park) that comes out in the middle of the Tail of the Dragon. Parsons Branch used to have 17 creek crossings; however, the park service concreted them. Now, if it's not too muddy, a 2 wheel drive car can do it. We were hiking in Cade's Cove & didn't want to go back around & out the front of the park to get home. Usually, I try to avoid the Dragon. Too many accidents on it by drivers & riders that don't know what they're doing.

oh cool may have to find that road some time. and really? comes out in the middle of the dragon? you sure it comes out on that 11 mile stretch? or another part of 129? because i have never seen a road come out on that 11 mile stretch. they consider the tail from the store in NC to that big a$$ parking area, that has restrooms, close to where you turn on to the park way from 129. just wondering, i have been up the dragon a few times never even saw a place where a road could come out. last time i went there were 2 THP officers. last time i went i pretty much did the speed limit or right under the hole way from the store to the park way, truck did pretty well Nittos never lost traction at all. screeched some but never lost traction. but i’m not lifted and don’t have the armer you do.

Yeah, I'm sure. I spend a lot of time every day high lighting National Geographic maps for dual sport motorcycle tourists for the Cherokee NF & Smokey Mtn's NP. There are two, one way un-improved dirt roads that come out of Cade's Cove. One goes to Townsend & the other one goes to US 129, in the middle of the Dragon. Those photo's of my truck were taken by one of the professional photographers that are camped out on the Dragon every day. The road is there, it's just kind of bushy at the exit.

There are about 500 miles of Forest Service roads in the Cherokee NF. Including five creek crossings. Some of the roads are dirt / rock, and others are gravel.
There used to be an HOV park in the forest; but, it was closed a couple years ago due to silt run off into the river.
