    neglect, mostly.
    wheeler's here!!

    :woot:

i tried to post something in here last night, but i was extraordinarily hammered and i couldn't get my fingers to work.

but yeah, our team hasn't been too impressive this year. Amerson surely hasn't lived up to his hype. the talent is there, but so are a ton of mistakes every game. . but last night was just nc state football. we have games like this every season. tiger will surely recall last years Clemson game where State stomped that ass. Clemson was by far the better team, but State just wanted the game more. and i don't have any stats, and i don't care enough to look them up, but FSU vs NC State is rarely a blowout of any kind.

neat bit of info from local news website

None yet, but its about to get rolling.
I think Bowdon was kept around solely because of his success against USC. It will be interesting to see how Dabo is treated depending on how the next couple USC -Clemson games go.

Ive had many Clemson fans tell me they were happy with the ACC Championship last year and that made the USC lost not matter as much, but this year they would rather beat Carolina.

Everyone seems to assume this was done by disgruntled UGA fans, most likely it was. But we have a lot of haters that are born and raised here in GA. that love to bash us (us being any GA. based team). It's no secrete that teams from here can't win the big games. So I could also see one of these haters doing something like this to add insult to injury.

:D We tried to give them the win 6 times! They just wouldn't take it. As far as obnoxious goes we weren't all waving cowbells around so it could be worse.

Riding on their tradition. Winningest program in college football history means something to some people. They don't belong in the Top 25, but as a fan of a team who beat them, I'd like them to stay up there as long as possible.

Been a while since I had that much. Fun while you get there, sucks once you're there and the world won't freaking stop spinning.

This made me laugh really hard for some reason.

I watched that a few times, convinced it was just being played in reverse. Then I noticed a lady in the background walking forward so it was really the dog backing in. How did the door shut like that? Didn't seem to be touched.

EDIT: UGA touched the inside of it as he backed in. Now it all makes sense.

I'm willing to bet the people who did that were also 19-22yr old kids. Does't make it right, but we all know how good our judgement was at that age.

    This^^

I was pissed when I heard him talking about that shit! But you hit it on the head there.

    My .02 cents:

I need to see my Ducks play an insane good team before I see them going up against Alabama. We have USC on the road and Stanford at home. USC isn't as big as a threat as I thought before the season started but they are still scary. Stanford is shaky!

Don't get me wrong , I would love to go up against the Tide but they seem to be firing on all cylinders!!!!! With 2 different styles of football it would (WILL ) be interesting.

Any team could lose to anyone on any given day (Noles, Dawgs, etc.) so I'm not counting my chickens yet!!!!!!

Been a Duck for 39 years and have seen shit come and shit go!!! I don't get cocky and don't like talking shit because disasters happen and I've seen it all before.

Hopefully the NC will come our way and we get to Roll with the Tide. It would be an honor and would be exciting as fuck!!!

We just have to get thru the rest of the year and some great teams including a WTF Beaver team that should make this years Civil War very Un-fucking-Civil!

Oh my god. You're a realist. THANK YOU. I can't stand band wagon fans, especially Oregon band wagon fans. They have no idea what you use to be like. So thank you.

On your last statement though, did you watch any of the WSU/OSU game? I was there, that was a shitty game on both sides of the ball from both sides of the field. I can't believe OSU is 10th right now, since I believe they would get killed (50-3 style) by FSU, Texas, UGA.

If the Beav's play like they did on saturday in the Civil war it wont even be close

1st - I HATE band wagon assclowns also. I went to my first game while I was still babybatter in my moms stomach. Over the decades I have sat thru shitass snowstorms (fun actually :D), wind, sleet, blah blah fucking blah with 4,000 other crazy bastards to watch us lose. I still had fun, I still cheered and all was badass. I have been to at least one game every year since birth.

I've sat with the wine and cheese athletic fund booster crowd that are there for the "in" thing to do and they can all get the fuck out! I stand and yell and cheer and they look at me like "what the fuck are you doing tatooed sir"? I tell them to stand the fuck up and cheer and lose the golf and tennis clapping!!! Then I go to the parking lot and they are sitting in lounge chairs drinking wine and eating caviar. Band wagon cock stains!

Over the last decade it's been a rollercoaster.

Uncle Phils money, no more parking, no more tailgating space, expensive fucking tickets (gave mine up after 15 or so years) and other shit.
BUT......that's all part of the success, recruiting, great coaches and whatever. I get it. It comes with the territory.

When we went to the Natty, we real fans were fucking stoked and us real fans were gracious as fuck when we lost. Hey, we made it, we don't ever get that far, we are proud !!!

    2nd:

I didn't see any of the water rats game. Sounds like they were stale as hell!
